How can I set the captured print contents to be saved on an external or network shared drive
When logging onto Web management, it can sometimes show that the status of the print management service is improper, even after refreshing or restarting the monitoring service. It is can be caused by the one of the following reasons:
-
Open the PrintUsage installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\PrintUsagePro\), open the file bin\Sysconfig.ini and change the line "PrintContentPath=C:\Program Files\PrintUsagePro\content".
- Print- Usage supports network addresses in the form \\Server\Folder. This allows multiple print servers to save content to the same directory.
- Save any changes.
- You should move existing captured print content to the new folder. This can take several minutes if a lot of content has been stored.
- Restart the PrintUsage Monitor Service.
