How to deploy Swipe and Print, ID card authentication
Before ID card authentication can be implemented, a card reader must first be configured. We are able to supply a fully compatible ID card reader for use with the PrintUsage Swipe and Print, ID card authentication feature. Contact us via support@printusagepro.com for purchase details.
- Configure the card reader on the network, refer to the installation files and manual that are provided with the card reading device.
- Map the card reader’s IP address to the printer you wish to enable card authentication on. Refer to Section 7.1 of the user guide for detailed information on this process.
