When logging onto Web management, it can  sometimes show that the status of the print management service is improper,  even after refreshing or restarting the monitoring service. It is can be caused  by the one of the following reasons:
  
    - The Print management server  does not exist, or the operating system has been reinstalled. Add it to the  master server again to resolve the problem.
 
    - The Print management server is  actually working properly, but the Print- Usage HTTP service has not started.  Double click the service tray icon and click Setup and in the “Advanced” tab  click “Restart HTTP service”. 
 
    - There is a firewall installed  on the print management server. Set firewall exceptions to allow PrintUsage to  access port 8100. Refer to the user manual of your firewall product for  instructions on setting exceptions.
